Kevin J. Pentz, CFP®
Founder | Advisor
Kevin is the founder of Wealthmark Advisors, a fee-based fiduciary asset management business based in Western Washington. He specializes in helping individuals and families navigate the transition into retirement with a focus on tax-efficient planning, investment strategy, and long-term wealth preservation.
A Washington native, Kevin earned his degree in finance from Western Washington University and began his career in 2008—his first day coinciding with the collapse of Lehman Brothers. That experience shaped his perspective early on, reinforcing the importance of having a disciplined financial plan in place during times of uncertainty.
Kevin later stepped into nonprofit work before returning to full-time advisory, where he went on to earn his CFP® designation and launch Wealthmark Advisors. Today, he leads a growing team focused on delivering personalized planning and building long-term client relationships rooted in trust, clarity, and results.
Kevin is known for his ability to simplify complex financial concepts and help clients make confident decisions. His work often centers around retirement income planning, Roth conversion strategies, estate planning coordination, and tax optimization.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara, and their three kids. You’ll often find him coaching, staying active, or exploring the outdoors around the Pacific Northwest.

Service is Garrett’s middle name. Well…not really…but it could be because of how much he cares to put others before himself.
Born and raised in California, Garrett earned a BA in leadership from Vanguard University. In 2016, Garrett and his wife, Kirstie, moved to Washington to serve the mission of CRISTA Ministries as a camp program leader at Island Lake & Miracle Ranch.

Since then, he has joined our team at Wealthmark, caring for our clients with genuine, professional service.
Reading books on the couch with his three daughters is just one of his favorite hobbies. Others include riding dirt bikes, hiking, running, playing board games, and drinking tea in the evenings with Kirstie. He also enjoys spending his time serving his local church through his gifts of hospitality and music.
